I’m a former software engineer and travel addict originally from the great state of Kansas, currently residing and teaching English in the Asian mega-city of Seoul, South Korea. I set up this blog to chronicle my life here in Korea, as well as to follow my attempt to eventually join the U.S. Foreign Service and continue to live out my dream of living and working abroad. Expect lots of commentary on what’s new in my life, my work and travel adventures/misadventures, and maybe even some interesting pictures from time to time. Feel free to leave comments or link to this site if you’d like!

  2. Thanks guys, I appreciate it! I think the culture shock has worn off and I’m finally starting to really enjoy being here. Tell Ben he’s welcome here anytime – the same goes for the rest of you if you ever find yourself in my little corner of the world!
